Professor Gachutha chairs all CADCKE's executive board meetings and represents CADCA locally, she is an appointed board member NACADA and coordinates several other programs under Maranatha International Counseling Foundation (MICF); and serves as Executive Director, Kenya Institute of Business & Counselling Studies (KIBCo).

Having progressively been involved in leading roles and task forces, committees, board and panels charged with diverse mandate, Catherine has demonstrated capacity to offer transformative leadership as the immediate chair CADCKE. She holds a Doctorate in Psychology; Masters in Counseling Studies, and Bachelor in Theology among other credentials. Catherine has demonstrated competence and passion in transformative leadership initiating and engineering implementation of various community and cross cultural oriented programs.
